Amy Coon
University of Wisconsin - Whitewater
Department:
Marketing
Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
What does critical incident analysis even mean? She doesn't use the text book, her Powerpoint notes are worthless and there is no way to take notes in class - all you do is sit in your groups and not do anything. This class is absolutely worthless, just like Coon. And yeah, her sense of humor is horrible. She also does not like men.
Mrs.coon is a horrible professor. first things first, you go to class and you get in your groups and thats all you do the entire class period. She doesn't teach you anything from the powerpoints and then expects you to know what to study for the test. She says her test are easy but then why does the majority of the class do bad on them. if you try to e-mail her and ask her something, she will never respond. I have e mailed her like five times and never have got a response from her yet. Dont take this professor. She is boring and has no personality at all.. i feel bad for her husband.

OK…… some interesting comments here however, I’m suspicious of them. It appears that for the most part the negative comments written about Amy Coon are similar to the ones I would hear from students in her class, often from students who would turn up to class on a irregular basis anyhow. I am not sure if Amy reads from the book as much as most would have you believe however you have to appreciate the fact that Amy is a younger professor who may not have the spit and polish that a seasoned veteran may have. Yet, you have to agree a seasoned veteran is no guarantee of a good professor either. The low down is come to class, she notices if you’re a regular and it makes a difference at the end of the semester. For example I fell in the high B range because a bombed 1 exam. I know Amy was generous with me in giving me an attendance score that ensured an (A), that’s a positive. Secondly she prints all her lecture notes on D2L and will guild you on the class before the exam on what will be tested, that’s another positive. Quite honestly if you come to class, read your book (1 chapter a week) and print out your notes there should be no reason why anyone cant get a B or an A in her class. I believe most who a sincere about your class work will do well in her class. From the Ferret
