Ann Luther is such a sweet woman, but she is very soft spoken. He lectures are somewhat boring in nature, but everything you need to know is on the board. She has short/long essays on her tests. She will give you a sheet that has the possibilities for the long essays. You don't honestly have to read any of the books besides the one you write a group paper on. The one paper is a group paper. Attendance is pretty much mandatory since it is 10% of your grade, but she will excuse you if your "sick". I enjoyed her class and did pretty well in it considering I didn't read 6 of 7 books.

Ann Luther is a little boring, but nonetheless a great teacher. She's understanding of students' outside situations and she's very helpful as a professor. I would definitly take her again!!!!!

Ann is not a bad professor, but she's quite boring... her voice is very annoying, made my head hurt. but she is pretty easy.

Amazing teachers, great lady, well-organized notes and interesting topics. I had this class 2 and a half hours each Monday night once a week, and it went faster than my 1 hour 15 minute classes. If you like philosophy, she's a great lady to learn it from!

When you have to take World of Ideas... make sure it is with Dr. Luther. You will have to do a little work; not much, and you can easily get an A.
