Don't take her! Your grade is based off whether she likes you or not.

Don't get me wrong, she knows her stuff and if you are going to take her class, you will have to learn the material and know it well to do well. Some assignments had unclear expectations and when I turned in thought it was above par, but was returned all marked up. She can get boring during class and most people tend to fall asleep. If you want a good grade you are going to have to work hard at, but this is college isn't it?

Prof Hamillton is tough! You really learn a lot in her class, more than in most. She knows her stuff and expects you to know what she considers the basics. Her class was all essays, 3 major ones, 5 film reviews, and 2 exams which are essay. For the major essays She not only grades in content buy in grammer and spelling. I would deffinatally not wait till the last minute to start and would suggest getting your paper checked over by several people before turning it in. She grades heavily on content for the film reviews even when the film didn't really explain it that well and her exams are directally off her review guide so those aren't to bad. She's really tough but if you want to actually learn something and don't mind puttin in a little extra effort you should defintally take her!

Her class is seems very easy at first, but when you get to the first test and paper, you find out how hard its really going to be. After studying a few days in advance for the test, i still received a bad grade. Same thing on the paper. Her lectures are also very boring and dry, you will have a hard time keeping your attention for 1 hour in her class without falling asleep. I would not recommend this teacher. Easy material has been blow out of perspective.

Mrs. Hamilton is a terrible teacher. The class consists of two papers and two tests! The two tests are 10 multiple choice questions and a map worth 100 points which is ridicules because you get a worse grade on the tests than you should have! Furthermore, the grading on the papers is stupid because you can do everything that she asks for and more and she will still give you less than a 75%. Stay away from her if you want to do good in school! She just sucks!!!
