Benjamin Drevlow

I dropped his class after he marked me down for not stapling class readings (that we weren't turning in). That was the last straw. He's a sexist ass, plays lewd music while we're trying to write, and yells the entire class period. I got so irritated I quit the class and am retaking it with a better professor. (Oh, and he couldn't help but spend half the class plugging his new book *gag me*)

Professor Drevlow (which he prefers to be called either: The D, Drevlow, or The Drevlow) walked into class on the first day warning us that he will never be swearing at us, but with us (which he didn't do much of any ways). As far as 102 professors go, he's probably the easiest. He has you write (4) essays that are between 1200 - 1500 words long. That's not bad!! He focuses more on quality then quanity!!

"The Drev" is one of the coolest professors I've ever had!! Seriously, this guy will make english and even writing papers enjoyable. Plus for every paper you write, you have an opportunity to get 10 FREE points by taking it to the writing center to get revised. those 10 points come out to a full letter grade, so its worth it. I highly reccommend Drevlow for any english course that he teaches.

Professor Drevlow, is the first English professor I've had a UWW and I love him. He definately brings a different tone to class with his mohawk! He is really down to earth, we have readings assigned to us at almost the end of every class with a quiz on D2l after we read them. The readings are only about 5-10 pages, usually you just need to print them off of D2L and the quizes are on d2l and are easy and you can look at the readings, they are usually about 6-10 questions long. There are also journals that you do during class about what you read, usually take about 15-20 minutes and can work in groups. Only one full book is read during class and olny 4 essays, in which he gives you the entire format beforehand so they are pretty easy and he allows a period before its due to have you and a classmate exchange the paper and then you can get 10 freebee points by taking it to the Writing Center and have them look at it. Grades papers pretty easily, I'm not that great at it and got A's on them. He takes attendence. No tests, just papers. He likes class discussion. Changes the syllabus around and took out a essay paper! If you read and take the quizes and do your journals (which dont have to be completely done he said) and make an attemp at the easy papers, you will do fine!
