Bert Kreitlow

Bert........... Well you will hear plenty of jokes in this class. Not saying you will laugh though. He tries to make these remarks all the time to relate to young people. They are all awful to jokes. But to the important thing, HIS CLASS. I was very very lucky and he did not give us exams. The reason why I am lucky is because if he gave exams I do not think I would have passed one. It is so hard to take notes on his lectures, because he rambles on so much, then he tells a joke, talks about his wife, then he will call on you and ask for an answer to a bizarre question. Oh an guess what if you dont know an answer. Well he will make you feel like an idiot. I would say if this is your only choice of a professor then he is not terrible, but I am very excited to be done with this class. I have never day dreamed more than during his lectures. So boring. OH DO NOT USE YOUR CELL PHONE!!

Dr. Kreitlow is a good professor who can sometimes say awkward things... regardless, he is a good professor who knows his course material very well and shows it. People say he belittles those who don't know the answers, but this is untrue, he tries to wedge and answer out of someone when he's covered the material multiple times and watched the student go through his/her notes.

Kreitlow is a nice guy overall but gets frustrated when students don't participate during lectures. He gives all open note tests which is great. The readings he gives are important to study because there are always questions about them on the test.

Ahhh Bert. where do i begin. Biased towards certain students, docks you on attendance, freaks out if you day dream or look at a cell phone, boring (you will be day dreaming 2 min into every class), tons of pointless assignments and essays, repeats the same material over and over( you will see the same slides 3 days in a row), blows you off if you need to talk to him after class, tries to relate to young people but believe me it doesnt work, if he calls on you and you dont know the answer he goes out of his way to make you look like an idiot. his course is somewhat easy if you are good at note taking and like to go to class and hear the same stuff 3 times a week.

Assignments are few and far between. Knows what he is talking about. Dominates discussion but belittles you if you can't offer a solid opinion
