Beth Lueck

Professor Lueck acts as though she is teaching a second grade classroom. Overall, I feel that I have not received the education that I should have from this class. Yes, it was a simple class. It only contained four short essays and participation points. But, the essays were not easily graded. You were placed in the same groups every class, and you talked about the assigned reading each day. Be prepared to buy about six books for this class (and only use them for two classes, at max.) Her class was also based around war. So, if you know a lot about history maybe you would be better off in this class. Needless to say, I have left this class crying numerous times throughout the semester, because I have felt belittled, disappointed, embarrassed, and just plain let down by the overall experience of her classroom. In conclusion, I would not recommend her to anyone (even my worst enemy). Actually, I would highly suggest for people to avoid her class like the plague.

I loved her class. If you want an easy A and hardly any homework.. shes a perfect match for you.

If you're trying to get your english credits done and over with she's a great teacher to take. You have 5 papers the entire semester and you can re-write one of them. She doesn't give any test/quizzes and there isn't a final exam. You do group work everyday though, so if you don't like working in groups don't take her, otherwise take her, she's great

So incredibly easy. If you need more time on a paper, just ask she'll give it to you. And on your tests just ask her and she'll give you the answer. She's super easy and nice - complete easy A.

She is a wonderful professor if you are trying to get your English credits taken care of. She is very laid back and helpful. If you are taking a major that requires a lot of English, I do not recommend her. You will not be prepared for the next English class you need to take.
