Don't take him.

Thank you for being promt!And a few other things he loves to say over and over again, some funny, some you may think are harse. But guess what, you are in 041 because you suck at math!!, so be prepared to work your butt off. Breit gives every chance to succeed in his class. Quizes and test can be taken over, extra credit for tests by going to the math center for free help. If he knows you are working extra hard in the classs it a big benefit to your grade. You will whine and cry all semster but you will see in the end he was right and he is the professor to take for 041. But you have to put in the effort, because if you can't handle 041, you will find 141 unmanageable!!

He takes up the first half of the class chatting and going back over what he already went over. Then - doesn't want to work on a homework problem if only one person has a question - How do we know if more than one person had a question, if we aren't suppose to ask??? If he spent as much time on teaching Algebra as he does informing the students of the workings and inefficiency & politics of the school, what is allowed and not allowed by the Math Dept., physical layout of the college landscape pre-expansion and how much he is VOLUNTEERING & what is ON HIS TIME, without being $COMPENSATED$. Also - we get it - you prefer doing web pages --- but you WERE getting PAID to teach Algebra. Students pay to learn in class - not to attend last minute sessions to make up for lost time in classes -- time or money - we shouldn't feel we have wasted either.

Mr. B is not a horrible teacher but if you really want to learn math DO NOT take him. Yes, he does let you take tests and quizzes over again to get a better grade but he doesn't teach much in the first place. Mr. B also doesn't calculate grades until the very end so you have no idea what your progress is. He repeats himself at least 5 times during a class saying words like "Punctual" and "You are not suppose to get everything in this class, this is to help you get to the next math class". He is easy to talk to but talks too much. Again, not a horrible professor but don't take him to understand math. I'm not too good at math but I think I passed.

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A CLASS WITH THE BIGGEST DOUCHE BAG IN THE UWW SYSTEM THIS IS YOUR GUY HE WILL GO OFF ON SPEECHES THAT TAKE UP OVER HALF THE CLASS TIME ON BULLSHIT LIKE A CLOCK AND THEN TELL YOU HOW YOU NEED TO JUST ACCEPT IT AND THAT STUDENTS THAT ARENT WILLING TO CHANGE WILL FAIL OUT OF THE UWW SYSTEM HE IS THE WORST PROF I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE AND WOULD FAIL OUT OF COLLEGE BEFORE HAVING TO LISTEN TO ONE OF HIS BORING AS WORTHLESS SPEECHES DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS DOUCHE BAG OF A PROF'S CLASS HES A WASTE OF SPACE AND PERFECTLY GOOD AIR
