I took a 4th semester of physics because Prof. Benjamin was teaching it.

Prof. bob was one of the best professors I've had. I took Physics and AP phyisics in High School and this intro physics class was easier than both of those. The tests are really simple and sometimes he'll even skip whole sections for the exams which was nice. Labs were a little unorganized, but overall he was great and i highly recommend him

Dr. Benjamin is a great professor, I had him for the entire 170 sequence. His tests are pretty easy, and he is a great lecturer. However, he has a lot of research responsibilities and is ill frequently, so he can sometimes be unprepared for a lecture, and some labs were kinda lame. On the otherhand, this can also be to the students' advantage, since this makes the labs much easier and less thorough. Homework due dates are often extended and there are a lot of opportunities for extra credit. The most horrible thing about him is the time it takes for him to correct an exam. Do not expect your tests back for a VERY long time, not even joking, it can take months! But he is a very dedicated teacher, he just seems overwhelmed.
