Like most of the schools level 100 classes (mainly the bio) the class is to difficult. While Dr. woods is funny, he is also terrible teacher. He does not grade his exams on a curve, depsite half the class failing his exams. His idea of extra credit is giving 2-3 funny pointless questions and throwing a question or 2 out. From class start to class finish he is funny, great, and nice. But once class is over he comes across cold and uncarring. He never gives you all the material you need for the exam, rushes through chapters and has 6-7 chapters per exam. He is very anti Lab's which would explain why his test scores out weight the lab grade. Bottom line; If your a great test taker, take Dr. Woods. If your a horrible test taker take someone else.

Brett is an AMAZING teacher!! He is soooooo funny!! He's always telling our class how women are evil and that girls and boys can NEVER be friends! He teaches you things that you'll actually remember and things that you'll use in your life! I learned why trees change color in fall, how I got blue eyes, and how facts support evolution. I learned so much in this class! He is very funny and so nice! Take Brett Woods for your lecture if you can! If you can't, then definitely for your lab.

He is a very good professor. His tests are kind of hard, but if you pay attention in class he stresses exactly what you need to study. He helps you by letting you know what's important so you don't study the entire book or waste time. He is very funny too and makes jokes a lot. Overall he is a very good professor and I would recommend him to anyone.
