Bruce Eshelmen

He is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. If you go to him for help he really wont help you. His tests are all fill in the blank and short answer. On the test you must give the type of answer he wants or he wont give you any points at all. I had him twice and still only got a C in the class and I studied my butt off. DONT TAKE HIM!

A majority of the information we covered was not on the exam (II), and there were several (high point value)questions whose content we did not cover in class. I am reconsidering my major because of this class. I have never gotten a D on any exam other than this one. I studied very hard for this exam. A lot of people struggle in this class, but others in the same class with a different professor are doing just fine. When I compare the material from this class to the one taught by the other professor, the content is not even close to the same. How unfair is that?

This was the funnest class to come to because Dr. Eshelman is so enthusiastic about teaching. Although studying for the exams is based almost entirely off of his powerpoints, they are not posted online, so you have to go to class. Sometimes I felt that the exams covered material that we never went over in class. However, I would recommend this professor.

Good teacher who knows the material he is teaching. All his material is on powerpoint but does not post slides on D2L. Your study material ends up being the notes you take from those powerpoints. I would recomend him but be prepared otherwise you will not do as well as you would like.
