I had professor Rao three times a week MWF. Here is how his classes go, 1)Show up 10 minutes late, 2) Go over what we did last class 20 minutes (sometimes the exact same problems) 3)the last 10 minutes make a bad joke and go over another problem 4)He would always let us out early the last 10 minutes, which would be nice except I felt I got nothing out of his class! Overall, I am all about working hard and learning but this guy seriously needs to get in tune with reality!- Worst teacher I ever had!
Prof Rao does not teach. He simply write things on the board. Has somewhat of an accent but is pretty easy to understand. I am pretty good at math and ended up failing his class. All your assignments have to be typed in Exp which sucks!!! Otherwise, he can be funny. If you do take him draw flowers on everything.
Positive:
Is interesting/entertaining/funny
Negative:
Is a bad professor
Would not recommend this professor
Confusing or hard to understand
Overly difficult tests or assignments
I have professor Rao for intermediate algebra and i dread going to class everyday. He sends a sheet everyday for attendance so just make a friend in the class and switch off on going to class and sign each other in. Rao has a thick Indian accent that is hard to understand, class notes are worthless. He does math on the computer... wtf!!! Avoid him at all costs.

Worst professors I've ever had!
He has a thick accent and sometimes you don't know what he is saying. It takes awhile to understand what he says. He makes a few cute jokes, but he says them over and over so it gets old. His notes are bad because he does the same ones over and over so you aren't learning anything really new. He also doesn't walk you through the notes, he just does them and expects you to know what he is doing. He also stands in front his work while he is doing it so you never can see when he is doing something. He also makes people feel stupid when they ask questions. He does tell you what will be on the test, but does make the tests hard despite telling what is on it. Overall he kind of reminds me of a crazy relative, but not a good professor.
Positive:
Is interesting/entertaining/funny
Negative:
Confusing or hard to understand
Expectations are unclear or lofty
Overly difficult tests or assignments
Professor does not relate to students
Matreex yay...Translation:Matrix A Rao has a very thick accent making him very difficult to understand. His class is pretty easy, he tells you exactly what's on the test. If you practice the examples he gives you'll get a A/B. The final is weighted very heavily (46%) so if you bombed the first two tests like me you can still pass the class. Class discussions were often off topic and had nothing to do with math. For example, one day we discussed how it is never good to have a monkey on top of your tv, because the monkey will distract you from watching the tv. we also discussed how he likes to drink one glass of pommegranite juice every day. we discussed a couple of the speeding tickets he had in his younger years. Don't get me wrong this provides for good entertainment and a lot of laughs, but as far as a meaningful lecture, you can forget that. In summary, he's an easy professor whom you can barely understand, but will get a lot of laughs. And remember Google knows all!
