Wow...this is one of the few profs that I can check all of the "good" boxes for! Honestly he really doesn't need to be evaluated, but he deserves more credit than he receives. Of course the only way you will have him as a teacher is because your major forces you to take his classes...and there are no other options or teachers to avoid him. He helps me a lot with clarinet and even though he is really great himself...he doesn't make you feel that he is "so high on a pedestal" He is so understanding with work...we always give him this face and say the Music History Nazi is killing us and he completely understands...and sometimes without asking he reads everyone's minds and pushes due dates back. He is such a wonderfully, fun, smart, caring, teacher who is very understanding. I am so glad he is here.

I appreciate everything I learned from dr. Ellenwood, but he definitely has good and bad days. On the bad days, he sort of gets lost and stares sadly at nothing when he's supposed to be talking. A very good man, but he might need a little help.
