Chris is an amazing professor! I can't imagine that another professor could top his enthusiasm, humor, patience, and overall love for his subject. He makes Philosophy very interesting and easy to understand. The class didn't entail a lot of work, 4 papers, 2 debates, and 2 exams...and you can get by if you don't do the readings. If you can, TAKE A CLASS WITH CHRIS!!! It's really worth it!

Chris is absolutely brilliant. He always knows exactly what he's talking about and is ready to answer, or at least discuss, any questions that may come up. He is extremely entertaining and makes it easy to remember the material covered in class, and he is more than willing to help anyone who asks. He is incredibly easy to get along with and makes a point to talk to everyone in class. Although there is a bit of work involved, including two papers, two exams, and one or two debates depending on class size, the material is extraordinarily interesting, and I thought the papers and debates were rather fun. The exams can be difficult if you don't study, but if you know the material, they're easy. He grades very fairly, and if you do the work and take good notes, you'll do well. He is also very well organized and he makes it clear when you should remember something. Chris is definitely one of the best, if not the best professor I've ever had. He's always excited about the material he's teaching and makes everything very interesting.

He's a great guy. Funny, enjoys teaching, just a really cool guy. Extremely hard to get an A in. If you work really hard, you will get a B. 4 papers, 2 debates, 2 tests (all essay questions) he loves to gives B. Do your work and try and you will get a B no problem. You will learn alot, he's an awesome teacher. I recommend him, you should take this guy.
