If you don't take this class you're nuts!!!!Doc is the man and I doubt I'll find a better professor then him. This class shouldn't even be legal to take it's that good. Every student should experience Doc just once. This is the first class I actually was pumped to go to every day. You do so many cool things and outside of New Student Seminar it is the most talkative and interactive class I've been a part of. Even if you don't like the sound of "Psychology" take this class anyway. The subject matter is the best, it's a class all about YOU!!!!! He relates all the material to us as college students and asks you what you would do in certain situations. If you speak up in class and speak your mind it's even better. Give the nursing home project a chance. You get to meet some cool older people who have the best stories to tell you!!!Take this class because I personally promise you'll love it!!!

Doc is an amazing professor and I highly recommend taking his class!! He is one of the best and most caring professors I have ever had. He truly loves teaching. The information taught in this class is life changing and is worthwhile no matter what your major is!! I always looked forward to going to class and it was one class I wish I could have took for a year!! Also, try out his Nursing Home Visitation Program because it will change your life forever!!

I would definitely recommend him to freshmans he'd be great for you. This is an extremely easy course but as a junior taking him for an elective I think this class was a bit high school-ish. He did stupid stuff like have draw pitcures and count off to find partners. I think I was the only black person he always encourages discussion and paticipation & i feel I got over looked too often, but maybe i looked as if i wasnt thrilled so he didnt bother. Either way take him for an easy A

Even if you don't like psychology TAKE THIS CLASS! He is an EXCELLENT professor.
