VERY hard professor. His tests are TOO challenging, and it honestly is just not beneficial. He normally widens the C range so that the majority of his class gets C's. The average scores for his first 2 tests were 4 - 8/20. You get to use the book on tests, although it does NOT help at all because he gives you less time than needed on the tests and the entire class is normally struggling to finish the test by the end of the class time. Not to mention he takes off points if he doesn't see EXACTLY what he wants for work, so even if you got the answer right it doesn't matter. The POSITIVE: He comes to class prepared, he has pretty good Power Points, even though they come with the book, and assigns good homework problems that he doesn't collect. I would NOT recommend this professor. For my class, he also had a teacher assistant who was also not helpful whatsoever, and aided in the overly difficult tests and general confusion.
His Stats class was so hard...I was happy that he gave me a D, because I didn't deserve it.

Negative:
This guy is funny! However his test are super hard, but short (25 questions tops). He gives homework assignments but he never once checked ours to see if it was done. He doesn't necessarily check attendance unless a lot of people are gone then he will do a pop quiz (his name, what course, what time the class is held). Overall, he's a really nice guy and funny, but challenging
