A good professor overall. Excellent command of the subject material. Unfortunately the subject matter can be a bit boring at times. He does a pretty good job of keeping the class interesting though.

Dave is an interesting professor. WOI is very open minded. I had a hard time understanding the MANY readings we had and the people who wrote them. There are two quizzes, two ESSAY exams, and a final paper which isn't too bad but I just think that for a GenEd class it's a lot of philosphical thinking. I didn't care for his participation style either. Speak up every day or don't speak at all, ever. Lovely 'eh? If you must, take him, but I don't recommend him. He needs to update his teaching style because notes on the board isn't effective. How bout a movie, or using the internet or something - anything?

david should never been allowed to teach anywhere. he is very narrrowed minded, and believes carnegie is the greatest man to walk the face of the earth. we have child labor laws due mostly to the abuse of child labor by carnegie. for world of ideas take somebody else!
