Avoid this guy like the plague. As a grad student, I must say this class was a huge disappointment. I'm surprised that the safety department would hire a guy like this. I want my money back for this class. From day 1 I could tell that this guy is lazy. He put together a "additional readings" packet that we needed to buy from the library ($$$) and it was a confusing mess. (and all of the readings he wants you to read aren't even in there, he asked us to Google articles, just my opinion, but if you are going to have a course readings packet, then put all the readings in there.) I asked for some page numbers to help navigate the packet and his response was "Not sure how important that is." and asked a student to help me out. If I ask for page numbers then it's important. That was just the beginning. I never went to his office hours, but heard of plenty of people that did and said it was a waste of time. When one student asked him if he was going to grade or discussions, he asked her to leave. He said "Our time here is up" This guy is a joke!!! I could write pages on why this guy should be avoided, but just take my word for it.
