Had her for 310, and thought it would be a piece of cake class. Well it was not only a piece of cake class, it is probably the hardest class I have right now. She is very unclear on what she wants and doesn't give much "head's up" time wise to accomplish things as a group. She grades pretty harshly, and isn't too friendly when it comes to asking questions. She will ask you why you didn't ask sooner when you just got the work today. Also, re-check your points on tests/quizzes, she "mistakenly" missed 10 points on half of our classes tests.
She focuses on training her students in the skills they will need in the real world. Expect to do many "entertaining" presentations with your company group. She cares more about the aesthetics than the sources and content (much like in the real world). You will not have to suffer through boring lectures because she tries to put the class material to use. For example, instead of being lectured on a business plan you will have to set up a business plan with your group. Group work is 75% of this class. If you want a good grade you better learn to lead and motivate your group members to meet your standards instead of theirs(it is tough, but relevant to life after college). Tests require much studying, but she does give you a study guide. The best part of the class is the CEO interview assignment. I have never had to step out of my comfort zone like that before in college, but it's valuable networking(real world skill).
