DRA is a great prof!! The class is never dull, she's very enuthiastic and one can tell she's very passionate about her work. I highly recommend her.

I want to point out before I write my review that I received a B in her class. Apparently some think that it's just the people who did poorly in her class that don't like her, or the people who shouldn't be teachers. I HATED this woman. I had her for an online course and hated every minute of it. I'd email her questions and concerns and she's blow me off and tell me to suck it up, read the book, etc. The book is unclear on some things and since I'm an ESL minor it's really important that I understand how to recognize LD students. I learned NOTHING from her. Avoid this professor if you actually want applicable information for your content area!

I have never put as much effort into a 3 credit class as I have for Dr. RA's class. She is passionate about what she teaches, but really unclear about assignments and the tests are *crazy* hard-even though they are open note/book and we can take it in groups. She has very liberal political views and seems proud that she has two doctorates-if you answer something wrong, expect a condescending look and negative comment. She does know a lot though-if you're gonna take the class, it's good to just put up with her and take her section.

Prof RA is a really cool person. She obviously knows a lot about what she is teaching and enjoys it. Her tests are kind of hard, but they are in a group and open everything. If you like learning about Special Ed related things you'll enjoy her. Does take attendance homework is rare

Dr. RA thinks she knows everything about special ed that is worth knowning and she CLEARLY doesn't. I thought the class was okay, as I enjoy the subject matter, but I hated Dr. RA. It is because of her that I am no longer a Special Ed major. She's not the department chair, so the entire department is going to hell. Avoid her at all costs!
