He's not a horrible person, he's just a really bad teacher. His lectures are boring and he tends to mumble and doesn't really teach anything. The only perk I can think of is that he lets you use open book and notes on the finals. They are all on D2L as well. Other than that I wouldn't recommend him.

Dr. Eamon does not simpathize with students. I walked out on him one day becuase he refused to explain the problem further after I asked, instead he chuckled at me. If you go to the tutor you will pass! the tutor I had was WONDERFUL! becuase of her, and doing the homework assignments I was able to pass the class. If you souly rely on the PROF to teach you...DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT take eamon. He talks to people as if they already know what he's talking about, but if you struggle in math, i reccomend a diff Prof, or make sure u have time to go to the tutor at least once or twice a week.

Everyone seems to dislike Dr. Eamon, but in all actuality, he is not that difficult. First of all, he lets you use a notecard for the tests. Second, a lot of his questions on the tests are from the powerpoint book practice tests. So if you go over the answers on the practice tests, you should do ok. Also, he has the powerpoints in a book ready for you, so whoever said he goes too fast through the powerpoints, that doesn't make sense because the notes are already there for you. As for homework, just copy the back of the book. He doesn't check over the homework that hard. So whoever thinks his homework is difficult, that's just ridiculous. And for those of you who said that he doesn't make time for his students, well that's wrong because he will try to help you if you ask. Eamon is a very challenging professor but not everything can come easy to you, especially statistics. And honestly, if you are taking statistics, you are probably a psych major and will need statistics in the future. So get over it and study for once! I got an A in his class, so if I can, others can too.
