Emma Kuby
University of Wisconsin - Whitewater
Department:
History
Professors: Respond to evaluations by creating an account
Professor Kuby is one of the best professors I've ever had! She really seems to love history and teaching it. She does an effective way of doing it not only by telling us what historical events were like overall, but she also incorporates how ordinary people experienced it. Like any course, it involves doing work like reading assignments, coming to class to get lecture notes, and a few papers and tests. I felt like I learned more in her history course than any other one that I've been in. The last paper consisted of a mini oral history paper where you had to interview someone of any historical even that they lived through. Although the class seemed like a lot of work, if you just do the assignments, the class is actually very easy.
DO NOT TAKE HER. Too much work!

This teacher assigns too much. She has a great personality but there was homework everyday. If you like getting a lot of homework and having a very challenging course than take her.
