Gilbert Gloyer

I'm not sure what everyone's complaining about, maybe a little boring. The guy constantly goes over material, so by the time you take his exams you have it memorized. You don't even need to study. I think I'll leave the class remembering the material years from now, which is actually learning. Unlike some classes where you read a bunch of garbage before an exam, poop it for the exam, and forget it forever. If you actually pay attention, he does slip some interesting things into lecture. He also gives you almost everything you need to know for the exam in lecture notes, plus a study guide. If you do poorly in his class, you have no one to blame but yourself. Take his Race and Ethnic relations class, learn some general information.

Gloyer is very boring, but he is not a hard professor. I had him for individual and society and the grade was based on 4 test and a final that was two essay and some multiole chocie questions. The tests aren't bad bc he gives a review sheet with everything that is on them. I had someone sign me in for class almost everyday and did fine

The most bored I have ever been was in Gloyer's classes. I literally had to fight myself to stay awake, because the first 7 weeks were the EXACT same lecture. Reading is very unnessisary, as is going to class except for attendence. Just review with his study guide. I got an A, but didn't work for it at all. I would give it back for the precious hours of life I wasted in that class.
