Being the first semester for Hua teaching in English, I thought she did a great job. I felt bad because she is so soft spoken that so many students either talked over her or did not even listen to what she had to say. If you pay attention, follow along with the slides, and read the text you will do fine. She is very easy going and gives quite a bit of extra credit. I did so so on the exams and I still managed an A. If you take her, please just give her a chance. She is a very pleasant professor and is not looking to give you a hard time.
