I can see that Professor Trier was a great professor BEFORE he retired. I did well in his class and understood the material, but the class was WAY too easy. If you have to take him it won't be all that bad, attendance is required so be prepared to sleep in class.

Professor Trier retired about 14 years ago, but has come back for at least one semester to teach one or two classes. He knows the material very well. Our class as a whole did not do well on one of his quizes so he let us take another one to raise our grade. He cares that his students learn the material and that they have a good understanding of it too. I would for sure recomend him to ANYONE.

James Trier is an amazing professor. He knows the subject matter very well. If you dont understand you can ask him to review or go to his office. Yes he is retired but I would suggest anyone to take his class just because he cares about the student and you can tell when he teaches

Homework is assigned every night, however, it is always optional. He is a great teacher, who gives easy tests and tells you exactly what is on the test. I reccomend him if you want an A and a good teacher
