I'm not sure what to say about Dr. Lewis. He can be nice, but sometimes he just confuses everybody. He explains things a lot and seems to want people to do well and really know phonetics. I'm not sure if this is the class for him to be teaching with his personality because he seems to like yes/no, or black/white questions, and phonetics is not really like that. Sometimes it seems like he is putting people down, but I honestly think that he does not realize he is coming across that way. He does explain some things well. Usually answers to his questions are long-winded. If you read the book, practice the CDs, and pay attention for the most part in class, you should be okay.

This Professor is the very worse one that I have ever had, and should not be teaching! He is extremely unorganized,and unprepared. He wants to make himself look like "the good guy," but is really not. Dr. Lewis never follows through with what he says he will, and ALWAYS does EXACTLY the OPPOSITE of what he says that he will!

He's very rude and unprofessional and should NOT be teaching!!!

This professor is awful. He has the worst sense of humor ever! I'm sorry but making fun of women, homosexuals, or people with medical issues is not funny. Especially when you make fun of a students that are in the class. He may be well educated but his social skills are very weak. It sucks that there is no way to avoid this professor for some students, but if you don't have to take him, DON'T!
