Jeffrey Mckinnon

Dr. Mckinnon takes the time to make sure all his students understand the material. He is very caring and always available for help.

First off he should not teach a fundamentals of anything. He gets way too in depth. He is very arrogant and treats students like idiots. If you ask a question he answers you with condesending remarks. He lives to research stickleback fish. Unless it gets change to five credits DO NOT TAKE HIM FOR THIS CLASS, IT IS NOT WORTH THE TORTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is a wee bit arrogent and does seem a bit superior to his students and other colleges. I thought the class was interesting at times, but had to try and read his mind for the essays. I have to say that I have learned more about evolution in other classes that is easier to understand and gets to the nuts and bolts of how we are related to other organisms. I didn't feel liked I learned that in this class at all.

I did quite well in the class. One of the big problems with it, though, was that he did not coordinate well with the lab professor. Everyone was confused about what to do. You don't really need a book because he gives you his own notes. I think I looked into the book like twice. He tried really hard, and was really involved, but every now and then I got the feeling that he thought he was better than us. Damn Canadians! Go back to Canadia! Nah, he did an alright job, but it could be a little frustrating at times, and he did give the benifit of the doubt a lot of the times to the students.

He has his high expectations, and he acts like only certain people are up to his level. He treats his students like they don't know much, but tries to explain everything the best he can. he says to come talk to him for study tips, or on about stuff in class. He knows his stuff, but donesn't always explain it the best. STICKLEBACK!!!! If I hear about that again, I'll scream
