I can understand how some people may like his hands on approach for a lower math class or an exploratory math class like 148 and 149 but for a class like 416 he plain out sucks! He doesn't teach us anything he merely hands out packets and maybe explains it to that class when no one understands. Everyone in his class is ready to drop and I'm sure that I am going to fail this course and I have A's in all my other math classes. He just sucks!

He expects students to walk into the class knowing a whole $%^#&$^ history of mathematical knowledge. He doesn't teach - he expects us to discover it on our own & gets mad when we come to class with our homework unfinished because we have questions

I had him last semester and it was his first semester. I would have to say that I would like to see more hands-on activities and less note-taking. We tended to take notes every single class period, and then the homework was completely different. His exams are difficult, but not impossible. He posted review questions on d2l to help us, but the exams are still hard. The math fun fair is really fun though and you will enjoy it- it doesnt require an exceptional amount of work and is one of the better (and more useful) projects I have done since I started here at Whitewater.

Great Professor overall. I liked his methods of teaching 148 and I am glad I signed up for 149 with him as well. The reviews are very helpful when it comes to the tests. The class didn't take a lot of after-class time, so it was nice to not be glued to homework each night.
