Jenny Ma is....well an interesting professor to say the least. She seems to have a great wealth of knowledge to teach with, but has a very hard time appropriately presenting it to a class. She can be very helpful one on one, but is very confusing and hard to understand when lecturing: which is most of her classes. There is also a bit of a language barrier, she does have a thick accent. I didn't understand that "harcowee" meant "hardcopy" for about 3 weeks and her pronunciation of "count" can lead to some laughs. Couple the language barrier, while jumping between topics, and a very loud voice and you just get either lost or bored and end up on facebook. If you read her powerpoints (filled with grammar/spelling issues, which is not helpful for coding) and understand them and study the quizes she has every week, you should be able to pull out a pretty good grade. If your a bit resourceful and have some computer knowledge you can get away with taking her as your professor.

She is incredibly difficult to understand. Examples: COMCHU? FI? DOBOBOLY CRICK? FROPPY? These are just a few of the strange vocab words of the class.

Jenny Ma is hilarious. "Visual Basica, Construct Meth, Intig, clicka de, clicka de"...the list goes on. if you don't speak english, this class is for you!
