This professor is a wacko. She comments on news events of the day but has no idea of the facts. She talks about senseless lawsuits and criticizes them for being brought, but has never reviewed the specifics of the case (eg. Micky dees and the hot coffee). Other reviews were right on point as to how much homework you can expect to do. She'll read Plato to you at such a fast pace that she can't even keep up with what she is saying and then she's lost and has to be brought back and corrected by a helpful student. And, btw, dont expect a syllabus the first several weeks either. trust me and choose anybody else for WOI!

Worst professor I have ever had in my life!!!!! WOI is not meant to me challenging, let alone tons of homework. The first half of the semester there is a paper due every day, once you think you don't have to write anymore papers she makes you read 2-3 hours a night of homework plus 2 long papers (one 10 pages the other atleast 20) NEVER take this crazy lawyer.....she will get to your head!!!

Don't take this professor. You never know what to do because she tells you one thing and then tells you something else the next time. Nothing ever made sense which made it very hard to do the assignments, which I might add were very difficult..

First of all, her name is spelled Schwarz...Second of all, I had her for english and she was a great help to me. She is available for conferences very often, and she is very helpful with papers. She often gets many students involved in class, and she is very professional. I enjoyed her.

She is a good lawyer I'll give her that. But when it comes to teachin she expects everyone to have a law degree. I eventually just had to stop going to class because it was so frustrating. It was a beginning level law class and she expected you to have taken like 6 classes before hand. She's completely unorganized, expects WAY too much of you, and when you ask her for help she just repeats herself and doesn't give you any help...you leave more confused when you start with. Her assingments are ridiculous. JUST DON"T TAKE HER
