I had Prof. Gavlan for comm 110 (speech 110) online. She doen't accept late work, so dont even try. But she does post reminders of upcoming assignments on d2l. She enjoys discussions and has weekly disscussions online. She didn't seem to be a super tough grader on the speeches which I heard some prof. are. There is a quiz every month on four chapters (yes you have to read the book) and a paper, and weekly discussion, and a speech. There is a bit of work to this class, but its required. I would reccomend taking this prof. She also has a lot of excersises on d2l and examples of stuff.
