If you hate Business Finance as I do, do not take any other teacher besides Joel! He was amazing, super easy and incredibly helpful! I got a 100% on the first exam along with 25% of the class. Before each exam he went over the entire exam for an hour and a half. It was impossible NOT to do well in this class! If you only take one piece of advice in your entire life, take my advice and take this professor for FNBSLW 344!

I would take him for finance. He really gets students and doesn't make finance challenging at all. I would recommend him. The homework is easy and you can do it in class as he goes along. Tests aren't bad. He knows some stuff is boring so he tries. Take him for finance

He is a great prof for Finance. He's not all that exciting, but I had class with him for 3 hours a day, 2 days a week and I survived just fine. He's is primarily a high school math teacher, but teaches a few finance classes at uww. It's nice because he really understands how to explain things especially for those who aren't finance majors and didn't do all that well in accounting. His assignments are very straight forward and actually usefull. His exams are also fairly easy. He gives you a heads up on how difficult the test is supposed to be so you can prepare accordingly. He really cares and wants to make sure his students do well. And he's a great professor. TAKE HIM!

Good teacher! He is a good guy who make the class as easy as possible. The tests are pretty easy and the homework assignments are some of the easiest assignments I have ever had. His lectures are pretty boring but I don't think many professors can make finance exciting. Strongly recommend this professor.

Joel is a great professor. I have always heard great things about him, and everything was right. He makes it easy to understand. I don't totally dread going to his class.
