While many people complain that the material is too difficult, it is definately doable if you study. Dr. Aulerich requests students' input for forming tests, makes the material clear and understandable, and is ALWAYS willing to go the extra mile. He is obviously enthused with his work. There isn't a great amount of class discussion, as mentioned before, but he does try, and it is difficult with such a large class as mine. Overall, I highly recommend him.

Good professor. His group project is better than others' as you choose your group, if any, and you choose the company. He also teaches you how to solve problems without a financial calculator. Would recommend.

For many people finance is a difficult class, he make this class much easier than most. He has notes online and goes through them so you can concentrate more on what he is saying than trying to write it down. He is also very willing to work with you if you have a bad day or test. He is the reason i took Finance as a second major.

Although he could generate more discussion by calling on students more, I think he is one of the best professors I've had, and is an overall great person. He will bend over backwards to help the students and does not act in a condescending manner in the process--like other professors I had in my Finance major at UWW. I think those who think he is too challenging are not making enough of an effort (I didn't do as well as I could have in his class only because I didn't spend my time wisely back then--believe me, graduate/law school is much harder than anything was in college, so don't take it for granted)...I recommend him highly!

Can be tough if you don't study but one of the smartest men I've ever met and you will learn a lot.
