John Bowman

Well first off sometimes he couldn't answer some of the questions I had. And once he didn't know how to finish a problem and he asked one of the other students to answer it for him, and on numerous occations he couldn't figure out the answer and just let us go. His tests are kind of easy, but I also went to every class and paid attention and didn't understand a damn thing he said. And he pretty much taught out of the book, like literally wrote stuff on the board straight from the book, word for word. Avoid him at all costs, unless your looking to fail.

Overall, he's not the worst professor i've had on campus, not the best either. This is his first year here, but still gives difficult tests and a lot of homework.

The math program and UWW hasnt been so great. Bowman is almost at bad as ongwella. No other 143 teacher does as many matrices or goes into them as much as he does. If you love matrix take him otherwise stay far, far away! He goes through material too fast and is extremely confusing! He doesnt even solve problems because he doesnt understand them! STAY AWAY!!

If you want to do Matrix for more than half the semester- take the guy. Problems are over a page long a piece and take forever to do. He gives difficults test and not enough time and you do two lessons a day with TONS of homework. I wouldn't recommend him!
