Joseph Hogan

this guy is a total ass i came to class every day. did a good job on all the work and gave me a bullshit C. he has his fav students and hates the rest

Hogan's a wacko. I'm an A student with a 3.7 GPA. I had to take WOI to satisfy some BS class. This class was terrible. Nearly impossible to stay awake in, he's the only prof I've had that is actually shy. Seems like he didn't know what to do with his life and he was a weird art major so he just thought "hey, I'll teach". No rubric's are given for any of the assignments so you don't know why you got down graded. You will get your paper back 4 weeks after you handed it in and it will show 17.9/20 or something like that. 17.9?!? where could I have possibly lost 1/10 of a point?!? Tries to make jokes, no one finds him funny. Sorry to anyone that is not a art/literature major that has to take this guy.

Profesor Hogan is extremely boring. He sadly attempts to make jokes every once in a while. He makes his tests seem easy when you're taking them, but you never do as well as you think. If he doesn't like your writing style, you're basically screwed.

Joe Hogan is pretty tight. The Dr. Evil reference is right on. It's almost like he's doing an impression of Dr. Evil the whole time. A lot of awkward silences. He's pretty easy. I put in no effort and got a B. You will have to go to class though. For the big lectures though (if you have combined group lectures) there is just a sign in sheet that goes around so you can just have someone sign you in. He makes jokes that aren't funny, but then acts like Dr. Evil and does hilarious little chuckles and then the class just all starts laughing (at least ours did). Good times with Joe Hogan.

He's a good professor overall. He's very nice. For our final class, we had a party! His teaching style takes a bit of getting used to, but the class turned out well. We watched several videos and even got to act out a scene. I'd recommend him.
