This was a very challenging class for an introductory class, but It is a 5 credit class, so a little extra is to be expected. She seems to have a great passion for what she teaches, and wants everyone in her class to fell as she does. She doesn't understand that this is not the passion of every student, but she has gotten me more interested in Astronomy. Sometimes when you ask her a question she leaves you feeling more confused than when you asked, usually asking you the same question you asked her as she walks away. You will learn a great deal in this class. Beware: not a class for slackers. JC will scope you out, and spit you out!

This professor is the worst professor I've ever had in college. She expects way too much of students, especially for an introductory class. Whenever we go through problems in class she always writes the solution down so fast and NEVER explains how she got the answer, unless someone asks her how she got it. She'll go over practice tests (that she supposively used in classes in previous semesters) the day before the exam, then once the exam comes it is about 10 times harder than the practice. She can be hard to understand with her accent. If you ask her questions, she'll seem confused about what you're asking her then ramble off some answer that doesn't even help you. She thinks she's funny when she's really being rude. Terrible professor!

I beg to differ with the other comments. JC was a great professor for our class, and if you hold an accent against her, you should be flippin' burgers at McDonalds and not be in college. Get a life and be a real student.

Constantinescu is very hard to understand!! The class I took with this professor was descriptive astronomy but the content was way beyond "descriptive." When asked a question the professor would get very mad and take it personally. It seemed like the test questions and homework were always trying to trick you.
