DO NOT TAKE JACKSON FOR WOTA! Yes, she allows you to talk to people during the exams, BUT there are only 2 exams and they count like 20 points out of 600. All the points come from the homework that she hardly lets you know is due and event reports. She didnt even give me credit for 3 event reports i did. DO NOT TAKE HER.

When you take World of the Arts, avoid her at all costs. Easily the worst professor I had in my first year. She kept changing rules for assignments. She said we could skip one assignment or the final then late in the semester said you could skip the final or other assignment. The worst-- She asked me what art was to me and after I answered she told I was WRONG. How can my opinion be incorrect? Opinions by nature aren't right or wrong! She's awful.

What can be said about my good friend Professor Jackson. Well to start off she is crazy, I repeat she is crazy. Her class makes absolutely no sense, but it's easy as hell. Class is pointless, but you should probably go because every now and then she does take attendance. Just go and sit near the back and sleep the entire time, that's what I did. Half-ass your homework, and you can easily miss some. The events reports are where the points you lose in Homework should be made up. She does not want to read what you really thought, she wants to read you bull shitting your way through a paper and "how you loved that performance." I went to two of the five events yet still managed to get 160 points out of a total 150 for them. Tests are a joke, you can talk to people so easy to do. Overall she's crazy and makes no sense, but it's really easy so I'd recommend you take her because you'll have to take this stupid class with someone.

She is nuts, and she seems to have NO passion for her job whatsoever. She looks almost as if she is in pain while she teaches and wants to get done with the class just as much as her student, bored out of their minds. She is EXTREMELY inconsistan on grading papers. I wrote a paper that was great, and she gave me a D... then I wrote this horrible events report when I was drunk, and she gave me 30 out of 30 points, A+. What the hell is up with this crap? She is also very unwilling to negotiate with students and lacks any sympathy.

This teacher is awesome. I would definately recommend her if you are looking to get an A in a class by doing easy homework. The assignments are not hard at all.. you just have to do them. TAKE HER.. ITS A CLASS THAT I WAS ACTUALLY EXCITED TO GO TO EVERYDAY!
