Julie Letellier

I took Julie even though I had heard many bad things about her. While she wasn't as bad as people made her out to be, she was constantly late to class (including our final). After coming to class late she would hold us after, which for me was a big issue because it was usually something important but I also had another class to get to. While she involved the students in class she usually called on the same people and wasted a lot of time moving students around the classroom to get them to work with people they didn't know. Overall, she just wasn't the professor for me, however, if I had to I would take her again.

Don't get me wrong, Julie is a great teacher, but I had taken calculus in high school and her Math 152 was overly difficult. Lectures were great, however tests and quizes were overly difficult. I had a mon, wed, fri class at 8:20 and she gave a test/quiz every friday. Ouch, if ya know what I mean. She gave some take home tests/quizes, however those too were very difficult. Too many hard word problems. I only managed to pull out a "B" out of this class. My advise: take her if you are a math major and don't mind studyin every THUSRSDAY night. Find another instructor if you dislike math.

no calcs in 141, WAY too many word problems on test/quizzes/exams. even if you do the homework, none of the questions are on the tests. i highly recommend NOT taking 141 with this prof!!!

Julie is awesome!!!! Yay MATH ROCKS! She is my mother and she is good at that too

If you do not necessarily enjoy Math and/or find Math difficult Julie is not the prof. for you. She knows the subject, but goes way to fast and expects that everyone is keeping up to her.
