I had her for a summer Sexuality of Professional Growth. It was a 3 week course and went by extremely fast. I really enjoyed her class. We covered a lot of material, however the study guide really gave you exactly what was going to be on the test and it was also covered in class. The material was interesting, but by the end it does'nt make you uncomfortable anymore. I recomend the summer class cause its usually smaller and more interactive. Just show up everyday and you can get a B, reading the book will get the A.

Karen is a wonderful teacher! The only thing I don't like is the huge outline you have to buy.

Karen is one of the best professors I have ever had. She makes class fun and entertaining, and I loved going to her class. She cares about your issues and is willing to share her experiences. She is very dedicated and motivates you. She has a ton of life knowledge that she brings to the table and I believe that anyone that needs to take any of her classes should whenever possible. By the way, she is a social work professor, not a speech professor.
