Positive:
Good professor.
Great teaching methods/approach
Is challenging
Is willing to help students anytime
Negative:
Yeah I dont even know what to say about her, I got an A, but I really had to work for it. The assignments aren't explained very well so you have to guess how to complete them and then when you leave something out, she takes away points for it. Her tests were alright, pretty straight-forward if you go to class.
Positive:
Is challenging
Is creative
Is willing to help students anytime
Involves students in every lecture
Comes to class organized
Negative:
Is a bad professor
Would not recommend this professor
Confusing or hard to understand
Expectations are unclear or lofty
Overly difficult tests or assignments
Notes/lecture is confusing
Professor does not relate to students
Worst professors I've ever had!
Groshek is seriously the best professor I've ever had! She is smart and well-read and really knows how to teach. If you enroll in his class, be prepared to work; I won't lie and say it was an easy class. But you will learn a lot, and have fun doing it. Taking this class was so worth it. I got an A, definitely, if you put work into it, she gives A's.
Positive:
Good professor.
Negative:
I had her for adv. database design. She talked pretty quickly in the beginning and eventually tamed down a bit so that I could follow. She seemed really excited about the subject she taught, I think she just wanted to fill the class with too much information at times. She always gave quick feedback and graded everything right away so I knew where I stood. Overall, I learned a lot from her in both classes I have taken, she focuses a lot on project management and development methods, so make sure you follow these and you will do great in her class.
