Very easy! had some quizzes that you could use a cheet sheet for with all the equations on it and only three tests. didn't have to turn in homework assignments. good step by step instructions, easy to follow and very friendly! I've never gotton an A in a math class untill this one! Would recomend him to anyone! :)

After reading all of the evaluations on here so far...I was TERRIFIED to take this course but I have been proven wrong. He is a very GOOD teacher (at least in math 143). His quizzes and tests are straight forward and he lets you know in advance what you need to study. He throws out the lowest quiz score you get. On the day before Easter break (when no one came to class) he gave the six people there a free 100% quiz grade for showing up and then told us to have a good vacation!!! I have always been bad at math but as long as you go to class with a good attitude and do some of the homework (that he doesn't collect) you will be fine!

Prof. Arriola is the best teacher I've ever had, bar none. His classes are an absolute joy. You'll work hard, but I never felt overwhelmed. He was there to guide me/us every step of the way, I mean I really felt like he was _teaching_ not just presenting material to us. Really personable and funny too. Makes math fun, and super-interesting. I could go on and on.
