This guy knows what he's doing. I, for one have never been good in math, and being in his class, I'm starting to understand everything that he teaches us. He is a little boring, and when he gives us time to figure out a problem, he constantly asks you "do you get it" or "do you need help" every 2 seconds. His voice is also a little monotone, and he's not that demanding of a guy, so I used to fall asleep in the class, but once you get used to his tone of voice, you should be ok.

He loves to teach. Math has never been easier to follow. There is no requirement to go to class, but I would recommend doing so. His lectures are where everything is learned. I havent opened the book and have an A.

Honestly, Dr. Arriola ranks right up there with Dr. Lampe as far as Math professors go here! He really knows his stuff, and NEVER makes you feel dumb for not knowing what you are doing. Hard class to teach - but everyone is getting it - tells you a whole lot about the instructor! You'll learn, however, that he is originally from New Jersey, and not to be trusted :)

arriola is a funny name. how come i was the only student that laughed? well he is a good teacher, straight up from new mexico/new jersey. he gives you a full page of notes to work with on tests in 143, so you should take him. dont trust him though (hes from new jersey).. what?
