Lloyd Binagi

Okay, remember that most of what is said here is likely from the moths of freshmen, meaning they lack dicipline. Lloyd's class is easy for people like me who enjoy a challenging debatem, read the assignments, bring questions and comments to the table, and can actually structure a paper properly. For anyone who lacks motivation and simply wishes to sit in the back row, you will fail. Not only was it easy, but it was fun and interesting as Lloyd clearly reads materials outside of class--he is very educated, and wants students to step up and actually read ... how is that a bad thing? I never had an exam, just book reports, but I'm sure that listening in lecture, taking notes, and doiong assignments would have resulted in a better grade. Grow up.

Professor Lloyd Binagi is a very interesting professor. He will not give you an a in less you earn A grade unless you earn it. He gives the most difficult multiple-choice questions I have ever dealt with as a student. He has a tendency to talk very loud and rambunctious about topic matters, which have nothing to do with the exams.I had to chase him down after class to figure out what he said in a lecture when he was eating lunch. The key is if he does give you multiple choice is to wait for him to stop his rambunctious discussions. He will talk in a completely calm voice, and everything he says is an exam at that point. This is not a class for the slacker students. Therefore, today if we give essay exams you should feel blessed. I was the only underclassmen that year to get in A grade from this professor. Binagi made me be earned it.He does have a view that his daughter and all American students are lazy. I do still recommend him as a teacher, but you better work hard for your grade.

He didn't show up for the final test, so there was not chance to improve your grade.

Lectures have nothing to do with tests, he makes you write essays and their grades mean nothing, RARELY gives out A's. He'll throw in a funny comment here and there, but it is totally not worth it. He's a real nice guy, but I would never ever take another of his classes.
