holy hell, so maybe he's good for the entry level english classes, but world of ideas is a different story, 3 papers all of which i got an 85 or better, and a response due every class, which i did all of. STILL GOT A FUCKING "D" i'm calling and bithcing tomarrow

Lynn Shoemaker a very nice person but he is a terrible teacher and the most biased grader to ever teach a college class, only take him if you would like to be more bored than you have ever been.

Shoemaker is actually a really cool professor eventhough he is a little loopy in the head. I literly slept everyday in class for probably 45 min out of an hour and 15 and still got an A in his class. If you read the books and show that you kind of know what your talking about you will not recieve lower than a B on a paper no one in my whole class got lower than a B on any paper we wrote and he told the whole class that. You will have to write like a half page response everyday but all in all he is a really easy professor who if you listen to him will laugh at problem is I really never listened.

Lynn's not a bad professor in the long run. However, he asks for too much work in a short amount of time. He also tends to ramble and the books he chooses for class really don't have much to do with the rest of the class.
