What can I say about this professor. If the material was challenging at all, I would absolutely hate her. I pretty much self-taught this entire course, but most of it was review. The only reason I would go to class was to sit in my desk for 1:15 and do the assigned problems. This is the best part of the class. Everything that will be on the test is covered in the practice problems. I did all the practice problems the night before/day of exams. I had about a 98% going into the final. It's not hard to get an "A" if you are willing to put the work in...because she won't teach you much.

Manasi is a great person. I just don't know how great her teaching styles are. Her exams are worth 100 points and yet there's only 5-7 problems on them. If you screw up a problem...that could be worth as much as 35 points...you're screwed! You really have to know your stuff before taking one of her tests. And she does the "style points" make sure you write everything neat and organized on YOUR OWN test or else she will take off syle points because it was difficult for her to read. lame, i know. But overall, i did like her. Don't get me wrong...but i have had much better math professors.

Not what I expected. I just feel this class could have been self-taught since it pretty much was. Exams were difficult. The plus side is that there are a couple opportunities for extra credit. Beware: she talks in circles to get her way and it kills her to give 100s.
