Maria White

Professor White is a very nice person. She's a little difficult to understand with her accent, but you get used to it. Sometimes it's hard to tell what she expects out of you, whether it's a project or a paper, but she's not trying to fail kids. She's open to questions and tries to make things more clear. Decent professor, and has a good sense of humor.

White is a fun lady. She does have an accent but you can still always understand what she is saying.

Professor White is one of the nicest ladies that I have ever met. I cant see how she has such a poor rating. For speech 424, we had 2 papers, 2 group project, and a midterm and final. All of them were very easy. I bullshitted my papers, but as long as you follow the scoring sheet, youll be fine. My class convinced her to let us have our midterm and final be take home and she was cool with it. Easy A. In the sylabus she says you get 3 unexcused absences, but I miss more than that and she didnt take off 10 points for each class missed. I would strongly recommend Professor White!

Maria White is a super nice person, but her class was ridiculous. She makes you do unnecessary homework and constantly changes the syllabus. My class was Monday/Wednesday and she would even go so far as to e-mail us Saturday night with homework to be due for that Monday. We had tests every week for about a month straight because she got behind from cancelling class so much. The tests are really hard, but come directly from your homework so if you memorize all of your assignments word for word you are in good shape.

Her class is extremely hard to understand what to do and when, and the homework assignments are very long and unnecessary.
