Marvin d. Free

I really enjoyed Professor Marvin Free Jr's class. He is a great professor but can be boring at times but he does know what he's talking about and if you pay attention, you're going to learn a lot. As a senior, I probably learned the most in his courses than any other professor. It is a lot to take in but what you're paying to go to college, it is totally worth. Take Professor Free, it is definitely worth it, just put in a decent amount of effort and you should do fine. I received a B in both courses. If I would have put some more effort in, I easily could have gotten an A- or an A.

Boring, but easy enough. We had one legit exam. The second exam was take home, and our final was open-note/open-book. The project is super easy if you take an hour to do it, and he bases his grade off your classmates evaluations of your presentation.

You will take a lot of notes in this class and 75% of the information on the tests comes from the book that he wrote. He barely reviews the book information in class but will a little bit before exams. So in order to guarantee yourself an A, read the book!!

Great guy...you must read the text(he wrote it)...just 4 exams and a couple homework assignments. class is very informative...Take it with him!

Gets a little boring at times... but most of his exam questions are in the book. If you just read the 90 pages w/in the four weeks he gives you, you should have NO problem. His study guides are basically replicas of the exams as well... No way you should get lower than a B+ in this class. Also, don't get deterred after the 1st test - He says its the most difficult. I got a 68% on it, and still managed an A- overall - with no extra credit!
