Very hard class. Biggest problem is that it is partly bio kids and partly psych. the class is much more directed at the bio kids, for psych its right over our heads. The biggest issue is the gap between th ebio and psych kids, so she tries to teach in the middle and psych kids get the short end of the stick. I have taken her for learning and conditioning and she is so much better in that class. she also is a VERY hard grader, she has written on my stuff that i just guessed and was basically bs-ing my answer.
Final exam overall class average: 57%. (NO curve)! More than half of the students did not pass her class. Good luck.

Negative:
This class is one of the most interesting subjects I have ever learned. I came into the class expecting at least to pass because I had experience with the subject and it was definitely something I was interested in. However, I don't think that Dr. W fully understands the time constraints on the typical college student. She expects you to spend hours studying the notes and reading the book. And even if you do, you're not even guaranteed to do well. To pass the class she seriously expects students to read the chapter, take notes on it, study it thoroughly and then do the same thing with the class notes. I understand that we are supposed to take the time for this class, but SERIOUSLY, I do have other classes I need to study for and a job to make going to class possible. I think that Dr. W is a little outdated and that she doesn't understand that most student now-a-days don't have Mom and Dad to pay for school. As students we can't spend all of our time studying for this one class. And even though I spent the same amount of time on this subject as the others and felt that I generally understood the material, it’s still the only class that I didn’t pass this semester. Most professors are supposed to inspire students to learn, but Dr. W inspires me to quit.
