Prof Oldani is fabulous. I love his class. The only way he could improve it is by outlining what he expects for the two papers sooner in the semester. No tests, 7 reaction papers, 1 6-8 pg Illness narrative, 1 8-10 pg research paper. I took this class online. Tons of extra credit available. Sometimes he is a little slow getting back to you on email. I would take another course with him without thinking twice!

Oldani is an easy A. Online Culture, Medicine, and Health was the easiest class i've ever taken at WW. He makes you write 7 2page reation papers to the chapters you read -- Easily graded. He makes you do 1 midterm paper 6-8 pages, and 1 final paper 8-10 pages... BUT there are no exams! And all papers are graded extremely easy. He has "extra credit" chats on Tues and Thurs for 1 point each night. He also offers 15 MORE extra credit points by doing movie reviews or going to events, or writing an extra reation paper. Overall, he offers about 40 extra credit points which is ridiculous since he grades so easily to begin with. He takes about a month to grade papers, and he won't respond to e-mails until about 2 weeks later, so it's really hard to ask him questions.

Mike was a great teacher and had many contacts in the professional world. he knows his business well, and seems to be very respected in his field! plus is seems like a cool guy, its not possible to fail his class if you do the readings and listen to what he says. he does take attendance..booo

I had professor Oldani for my web-based anthropology class and he is pretty good... he is a relatively easy grader on his reaction papers as long as you follow the guidelines with them... his tests are very difficult, but if you read through the readings enough you'll be fine... overall, if you want a decent grade in a class take this class, especially web based
