This guy needs to accept the fact that he is being paid to be a professor. His main objective should be to educate. Sawyer structures his classes like all the students are all Botany majors, and in most cases not even half the class is. Though I received a B, it was the worst class I've ever had. He took what could have been a fun, educational, and exciting class, and turned it into an intolerable, uninspiring, and grueling course.

He makes it well known that he feels UW-Whitewater is a sub-par institution. He has an I don't care attitude and it shows all too well. Although his tests aren't difficult if you study, it's hard to stay focused when you know he doesn't care.

Hmmpf! This professor is no good with a capial 'N' He mistakenly believes that if he makes Botany, an intro course by the way, hard and tough, and if he scares people out of the course the first day, that he will inspire students to study in his field. Ummm, no, not happening. So he discovered a flower. Big Deal. Maybe he should discover what it means to be interesting. His teaching, in all its glory, can be summed as this: P.U.K.E.
