Pat Miller

Miller is a very funny guy. The classroom is pretty much open discussion every day and thursdays are "talk radio" which is very entertaining. I would take him again. He is a very very smart guy and knows a lot about what he is talking about. Great teacher overall

Pat is alright, but as far teaching goes, he's kind of blah. Great coach, love for the game. But is very unorganised, lazy, and only does the class I think because the school makes him (he tells told the class only reason he coaches golf is the school made him). If you take this class do not do it during the season. Take it after the season is over. Only gave on exam, but let you do a paper on coaching to improve your grade by one letter. Only way to get less than a B is to not show up for class.

Professor Miller is just a basketball coach that the University asked to teach golf and coach the girls golf team. He went and learned some tips from expert golf coaches, and uses them in class. He has a tendancy to talk on his cell phone during class. You have to pay $30 for a student membership to Spring Creek golf course (but then again, you do also get a round of golf half price even when your not in class?) and all you use is the driving range, putting greens, and the sand trap (which you only use one day). But I guess it's better than hitting them somewhere on campus and having to pick all the balls up yourselves. Overall I would not heavily recomend Miller for Begging Golf.

Pat is a great coach and a great teacher. I had him for coaching community sponsored sports. Class was pretty easy. He showed great command of subject matter and going to class was never dull. Has lots of energy and is very enthusiastic about what he teaches
